CARRIE MAE YOUNG FONDRENwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on August 22, 1920 the daughter of the late Oliver and Nora Blanch Reed Young.On December 24, 1938 she was united in marriage to Frank Fondren, who survives.Mrs. Fondren was a machine operator for Brown Shoe Company. She was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.Mrs. Fondren departed this life on February 19, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center Health and Rehabilitation in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years, 5 months and 28 days.Other than her husband Frank of Savannah, she is survived by one son, Donnie Fondren of Savannah2 great grandchildren, Haley Gardner and Adam Bain2 sisters, Mary Gillham and Beulah Jean Fondren, both of Savannah, Tennesseeone brother, Travis Young of Savannah, TennesseeIn addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tracey Leigh Gardner and one sister, Irene Spivey
