Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones, Joseph Wallace and Larry Janes officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.



Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 13, 5:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, Sept. 14, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.

Mrs. Carrie L Long Jones Evans departed this life on Thursday, September 11, 2012 at her residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 13 Days. She was born August 29, 1924 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Bud and Sarah Holt Long. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by her husbands; Grady L Jones and Rex Evans; son; Grady Norman Jones; daughter; Lois Jean Jones.



Mrs. Carrie was retired from Lincoln Brass.



She is survived by son, Casey Jones and wife Lisa ; daughters, Judy (Jones) Mayberry and husband Myron all of Waynesboro, TN, Jane Carroll of Hohenwald, TN, grandchildren; Jeff; Kellie; Meredith; Matthew; Cassondra; Gabriel; Cassie and Ciara; 9 great grandchildren; daughter in law Margaret Jones of Waynesboro, TN; special long time friend; Larry Carroll; 4 step grandchildren; 6 step great grandchildren; 2 step great great grandchildren.
