Wayne Franks

Wayne Franks was born on April 9, 1963 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late Marshall and Naomi Grimes Franks.
Wayne was a member of Shady Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He loved to go fishing. He also loved chickens, dogs, cats, and any farm animals.
Wayne Franks departed this life on February 27, 2026 in Florence, Alabama, at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 18 days.
He is survived by his sisters, Patsy Murphy of Savannah, Tennessee and Marilyn Murphy of Collinwood, Tennessee; brother, Bobby Gean Franks of Savannah, Tennessee; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, Jr. Franks and sister, Carolyn Strickland.
