CATHERINE ROSE
Finger, TN: Catherine Dodd Rose age 47 passed away March 15, 2018 at the Med in Memphis as the result of an automobile accident Wednesday afternoon South of Henderson.
She was born January 31, 1971 in Sacramento, CA the daughter of Lola Marie Camargo Jahn and the late Edward Lee Dodd. She attended Rio Linda High School. She has worked in various convenience stores as cashier and cook for most of her adult life. She has worked at C & R Grocery in Henderson for the past 7 years. She met Randy Davis in 1993 and they had been together for twenty-five years. She had a large heart and would stop whatever she was doing to help someone in need. She liked to work and cook, especially Mexican food. She loved her children, grandchildren and her dog Kane.
Catherine is survived by her companion, Randy Robert Davis of Finger; her mother, Lola Marie Jahn of Sacramento, CA; three sons, James Edward Rose of Lamar, CO, Brandon Christopher Davis and Christopher Dewey Lee Davis of Finger and a daughter, Alicia Rose of Lamar, CO; seven grandchildren Landon Rose, Kaydence Orozco, Kayleeonna Orozco, Patrick Orozco, Messiah Rose, Daniel Rose and Jacob Davis (an 8th grandchild is on the way); and two brothers, Edward Joseph Dodd of Finger and Shane Hernandez of South Carolina.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Thursday, March 22 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Henderson’s East Main Street Chapel with Randy Mead and Chris Holland presiding. Burial will follow in Chester County Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 21 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the East Main Chapel, 619 East Main Street, Henderson, TN.
