Cathy Ann Bomar

Cathy Ann Bomar was born on October 23, 1954 in Savannah, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Oscar L. and Mary Ruth Russell Crocker.

On October 23, 1977, she was united in marriage to James Bomar, who survives.

Mrs. Bomar worked in the Deli at Kroger and was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and fishing. Cathy loved spending time with her family and taking care of her daughter, Alisha.

Cathy Ann Bomar departed this life on August 11, 2024 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 9 months, and 19 days.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Bomar; daughters, Kimberly Phillips and her husband Matthew and Alisha Bomar; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her brother, Virgil Powell and sister, Beverly Jo Crocker.
