Cathy Creasy was born on September 28, 1964 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Sammie Carrol and Peggy Jean Barnett Pinson.

On August 19, 1985, she was united in marriage to James David Creasy, who preceded his wife in death on August 23, 2013.

Cathy enjoyed painting and reading her Bible. She dearly loved her children and grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.

Cathy Creasy departed this life on August 5, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 61 years, 10 months, and 8 days.

She is survived by her son, David Talon Creasy of Savannah, Tennessee; daughters, Samantha Jean Creasy Meek and Jessica Lynn Creasy Lard, both of Adamsville, Tennessee; sister, Janet Carrol Pinson Waters; and grandchildren, Macy Meek, Jayden Lard, Alaina Meek, Jaycee Lard, and Lily Meek.

In addition to her husband and parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her sisters, Sherry Smith and Lisa Waters and brother, Micheal Scott.
