Cathy Kinney

Ms. Cathy Kinney, age 58 of Whiteville, Tennessee, departed this life Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

The daughter of James Wesley Kinney and Doris Nell Phillips Kinney, both of whom preceded her in death, she worked for 24 years as an assembly worker with Garner Automotive. She was born May 21, 1957 in Shelby County and lived most of her life in Hardeman County. She was a 1977 graduate of Bolivar Central High School and her hobbies included talking on the phone and working with flowers. Her family describes her as a very outgoing person and she was a member of Whiteville First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother, Jeffrey Lynn Kinney of Whiteville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Memorials in Cathy's name may be made to Whiteville First Baptist Church.
