Cecil Jabo Ferguson

Cecil Jabo Ferguson was born October 21, 1930 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late Connie Dewey and Eler Elizabeth Moore Ferguson.He was united in marriage to Johnnie Blakley, who preceded him in death on June 17, 1989. He married Barbara Hanna on August 6, 1990.Mr. Ferguson was a drag line operator for Ferguson Brothers Construction Company, and was a member of the Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. He also served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Ferguson departed this life on January 25, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 79 Years, 3 Months, 4 Days. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Hanna) Ferguson of Selmer, TN; three daughters: Donna Fortune and husband Julian of Selmer, TN, Ginny Jaco and husband Dustin of Selmer, TN, and Cissy Moore and husband Nick of Adamsville, TN; nine grandchildren: Katie Whitley, Scott Whitley, Sarah Whitley, Isabella Grace Jaco, Amber Lynn Hansen, Nick Fortune, J. C. Fortune, Tori Fortune, and Amber Fortune; a sister, Louise Blakely and husband Doug of Selmer, TN; a brother, J. W. Ferguson and wife Jetta; and a host of extended family and friends.
