Cecil Wayne Furrow

CECIL WAYNE FURROW



was born on April 28, 1940, in Newport, Virginia, to Clarence William Furrow, who preceded him in death, and Minnie White Furrow. He married Doris Faye Richards on August 28, 1971.



In addition to residing in Adamsville, Tennessee, he also lived in Crump, Tennessee, Pradenton, Florida, DunDee, Illinois and Boling Brook, Illinois. Cecil worked for the Hardin County Sheriff's Department, and worked for Palumbo as an operator engineer of heavy equipment, he also served as Police Chief for Pembrook, Virginia. He was a Moose Lodge member for over forty years and a member of the Association of American Retired Persons, Fraternal Order of Police and the National Rifle Association. He loved music, loved to paint, and he loved being with people.



Cecil departed this life on Sunday, December 16, 2012, at the age of 72 years, 7 months, and 18 days.



He is survived by his wife, Doris Furrow of Adamsville, Tennessee.



Stepson, Carl Edward Richards, and his wife, Rhonda of Dyersburg, Tennessee.
