Charles Brewer

Services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton and Ray Kelson officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery ,Collinwood, Tennessee

with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 3, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Thursday, February 4, 10:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood,TN



Mr. Brewer departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2010 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 9 Months, 8 Days.

He was born April 24, 1941 in Wayne County, Tennessee the son of the late Wiley Rippy and Lyda Thompson Brewer. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by a son, Charles Frank Brewer and a sister, Margie Mayes.



He was united in marriage to Billie Jean Staggs on July 21, 1961.



Mr. Brewer was a Logger and attended Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church.





He is survived by his wife Billie Jean (Staggs) Brewer of Collinwood, TN;



daughters, Sheila Rich and husband Darwin of Iron City, TN, two sons, Russell Brewer and wife Temperance and Randy Brewer and wife Sarah all of Collinwood, TN;



grandsons; Tyler Rich and Justin Brewer; granddaughters; Ragan and husband Jason Wright; Cassie Brewer and Callie Brewer; great grandson; Davin Brewer



brother, Wiley (Dub) Brewer of Collinwood, TN;



sisters, Thelma Cook and Martha Dickey both of Collinwood, TN. and Gail Montgomery of Cypress Inn, TN.
