CHARLES (TEE) CARLSONwas born in Chicago, Illinois on January 28, 1947 the son of the late Gordon V. and Anne Thompson Carlson.On May 1, 1998 he was united in marriage to Melody Ann Moore, who survives.Mr. Carlson retired from Farmer City Area Disposal Company. He also had worked for Eureka Williams Company, ASGROW and was a Saturday AM Radio DJ for WHOW in Clinton, Illinois. Mr. Carlson was a member of Weedman United Methodist Church and was a Lay Speaker. He was a member of the Lake Run Club, he ran in Marathons including the Boston Marathon. Mr. Carlson was a member of the ElPasa, Illinois City Council. He was the founder of Danvers Days 5 K Run. Mr. Carlson was an umpire for 28 years for ASA and the IHSA. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was a singer for multiple bands and he was a songwriter. Mr. Carlson departed this life on July 4, 2011 at the age of 64 years, 5 months and 6 days.In addition to his wife, Melody of Farmer City, Illinois he is survived by one son, Michael G. Carlson and 3 daughters, Lisa Pergeau and her husband Andrew, Kim Kilcullen and her husband Brad and Kristen Bernas and her husband Jason. 3 stepchildren, Skee Aldrich and his wife Maria, Troy Aldrich and his wife Kim and Donna Beyer and her husband Brent.7 grandchildren, Lavender, Carlson and Isabella Pergeau, Jacob and Joshua Kilcullen and Tyler Bernas and 6 step grandchildren, Josephine Aldrich, Levi and Spencer Aldrich, Ilya, Nikolai and Natalia Beyer.In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers killed in Vietnam War and one brother who died in childhood.
