Charles Glenn Davis

Charles Glenn Davis of Waynesboro, TN was born August 13, 1939 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late William Clyde and Pearl Smotherman Davis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Davis. Mr. Davis departed this life Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro at the age of 72 Years, 9 Months, 16 Days. Mr. Davis served in the U.S. Army and was a carpenter.He is survived by four daughters, Sharon Morton and Angela Davis Risner both of Waynesboro, TN, Charlie Crunk of Memphis, TN, and Marvia Locke of Frisco, TX; nine grandchildren, Robert Walker, Shane Walker, Austin Davis, Logan Davis, Kelsey Crunk, James Davis Crunk, Kara Crunk, Gunner Locke, and Keily Locke; three brothers, Gerald Davis of AL, Joe Davis and Eunice Davis both of Waynesboro, TN; three sisters, Janie Hinson of Hohenwald, TN, Clara Nell Dalton of Detroit, MI, Bonnie Devers of Waynesboro, TN; several nieces and nephews.Services will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Old Union Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Earl Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
