Charles L. Denbow

November 21, 1934 — July 31, 2011

Bethel Springs, TN: Charles Lealon Denbow, age 76 passed away July 31, 2011 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.



He was born in Matthews, MO and raised in Dexter and Sikeston, MO the son of the late Raymond Andrew and Christine Genevia Bertholomey Denbow. After high school he attended Vocational Tech School in Ohio studying gasoline and diesel mechanics. He was married to Edna Faye Hodge in 1951. They lived in Southeast MO and Elkhart, IN for 17 years and moved to the Masseyville Community in 1965. He worked at International Paper in Jackson for 30 years and also had worked as a self employed mechanic and a farmer. He was a member of the Mitchell’s Chapel Baptist Church.



He is survived by a son, Steve Denbow and wife Ann of Luray and a daughter, Rita Stack of Bethel Springs and a daughter-in-law, Jan Denbow; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Hodge Denbow in 2006, and two sons, Calvin Denbow and Jerry Denbow and a brother, Dennis Denbow.
