CHARLES HIGHLAND

Was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 20, 1943 the son of the late Vernie and Bertha Austin Highland.

Charles retired from Skyline Manufactured Homes in Bristol, Indiana, where he built side walls. In his spare time he loved to fish, play his guitar and cooking on his grill for family and friends.

Charles departed this life on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 2 days.

He is survived by his daughter, Denise Watkins and her spouse Broc of Three Rivers, Michigan; grandchildren, Blake Watkins of Elkhart, Indiana, and Brittney Watkins of Goshen, Indiana; sister, Beatrice Highland of Savannah, Tennessee; and brothers, Eugene Highland of Mishawaka, Indiana, and David Highland of Savannah, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by one brother, James Highland, and six sisters, Floella Qualls, Geneva Poll, Velemay Tilley, Thelma Bevis, Lois Highland, and Lucille Highland.
