Charles Hillard Roten

Charles Hillard Roten was born February 7, 1928 in Adamsville , Tennessee the son of the late Thomas Andrew and Lora Jane Hicks Roten.He was united in marriage to his first wife, Genell Hughes on August 2, 1946. She preceded him on August 25, 1996. He later married Carolyn Cagle on December 13, 1997.Mr. Roten was a retired parts store manager for Napa Auto Parts. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Adamsville, Tennessee. He served honorably in the United States Army during World War II. Mr. Roten departed this life on April 20, 2011 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 83 Years, 2 Months, 13 Days. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Roten of Adamsville, TN; a daughter, Phyllis Fooshee of Piperton, TN; a son, Charles Roten of Adamsville, TN; a sister, Marion Laycook of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Brian Roten of Adamsville, TN, Andy Roten of Huntsville , AL, Heather Sprague of Sturgis, KY, Carrie Edwards of Collierville, TN; six great grandchildren, Chloe Sprague of Sturgis, KY, Savannah Sprague of Sturgis, KY, Westin Roten of Adamsville, TN, Baze Roten of Adamsville, TN, Olivia Roten of Huntsville, AL, Ella Plesants of Collierville, TN.In addition to his parents, and first wife, Mr. Roten was preceded in death by two brothers, John Roten, Howard Roten.
