Charles Hilliard

Charles Hilliard, age 57 of Bolivar, passed away at his home Friday evening, November 17, 2017.

He was the son of Lillie Mae Smith Hilliard and the late Nova Devan Hilliard. Born in Somerville, TN, he had lived most all of his life in Hardeman County where he formerly worked for Howell and Son Lumber Company from 1997 - 2009. On June 18, 1983, he was united in marriage to Jackie Roberts, who survives. In his leisure time, Mr. Hilliard enjoyed woodworking, fishing and especially spending time with family and his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his daughter, Christy (Keith) Birmingham of Bradford, TN; his son, Charles "Bubba" (Victoria) Hilliard, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren, Austyn and AnnMarie Birmingham, Bryce and Jordan Hilliard; his mother, Lillie Mae Hilliard of Somerville; sisters, Patricia (Tommy) Hill of Hot Springs, AR and Faye (Kenneth) Perkins of Eads; brothers, Aubrey (Barbara) Hilliard of Oakland and Jim (Beverly) Hilliard of Whiteville; and several nieces and nephews.
