CHARLES LAMBERT
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 22, 1931 the son of the late Hubert Clive and Verdie Alice Hutton Lambert.
On May 22, 1948 he was united in marriage to Wilma Austin, who preceded her husband in death on February 6, 1978.
Mr. Lambert was a self employed farmer, logger and sawmill operator. He was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. Mr. Lambert enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and raising coon dogs and coon hunting.
He departed this life on July 27, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 80 years, 5 months and 5 days.
Mr. Lambert is survived by 3 daughters, Judy Pollard and her husband Johnny of Savannah, Tennessee, Lois Franks and her husband Walton of Savannah, Tennessee and Margaret Doss and her husband Danny of Pickwick Dam, Tennessee.
2 sons, Rayford Lambert of Bolivar, Tennessee and Dennis Lambert and his wife Becky of Savannah, Tennessee
6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren
4 sisters, Huberta Allen and her husband R. L. of Savannah, Tennessee, Geneva Watson of Savannah, Tennessee, Ginger Russell of Savannah, Tennessee and Linda Graves of Fenton, Michigan.
6 brothers, Alton Lambert and his wife Hazel of Savannah, Tennessee, Rayburn Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee, Mac Lambert and his wife Elizabeth of Savannah, Tennessee, Jack Lambert of Vinemont, Alabama, Tommy Lambert and his wife Debbie of Savannah, Tennessee and Jimmy Lambert of Savannah, Tennessee.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Lou Hazel Blagg, one brother, Johnny Lambert and one great grandchild, Brittney Benson.
