Charles Matthew McGee

Charles Matthew McGee, Florence, AL was born September 26, 1969 in Florence, AL, the son of Dewey Ray McGee, Sr. and Carolyn Marie Weeks McGee of Florence, AL, who survive.

Mr. McGee had worked at T J's manufacturing and was of the Methodist faith and departed this life Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital, Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 47 Years, 8 Months, 2 Days after a brief illness.

Other than his parents, survivors are brothers, Darrell Lee McGee, Florence, AL, Dewey Ray McGee, Jr., Cherokee, AL; sisters, Rejetta Liles and Beckie Blevins both of Florence, AL, Kristie Faulkner, Red Bay, AL; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Cloverdale Methodist Church, Florence, Alabama, with Lynn Terry officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Florence, Alabama with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Brett Blevins, Ronald Liles, T. J. Johns, Luke Patterson, Nathan Faulkner and Gene McGee.

Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood, TN. His body will be placed in the church two hours before the service on Wednesday.
