Charles Coffman Morris

Mr. Morris passed away Friday afternoon, September 17, 2010 at Regional Hospital in Jackson.



A native of Hardeman County, Mr. Morris lived most all of his life in Haywood County. He was the son of the late Charlie Hugh Morris and Maggie Mae Clutts Morris. He married the former Bonnie Edmonds on October 8, 1951. He was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War and worked 30 years for Wells-Lamont. Mr. Morris was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church near Whiteville.



He leaves his wife, Bonnie Morris of Whiteville; his daughter LaJuan Sills of Guthrie, Oklahoma; his son, Terry Morris of Whiteville; two sisters, Willie Mae Garrett of Whiteville and Dorothy Russell of Bolivar; three grandchildren, Emily Morris and Brooke and Haleigh Sills; and one great-grandchild, Ryen Sills.



Mr. Morris was preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Napoli
