Charles Lee Moser

Charles Lee Moser, age 91, was born August 14, 1925 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late Charles S. and Ella Melson Moser. Mr. Moser departed this life at his home in Waynesboro on February 21, 2017 at the age of 91 Years, 6 Months, 7 Days. Mr. Moser was retired from Budd Wheel Company as a machine operator. Also he was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas R. Moser and Jackie L. Moser both of Waynesboro, TN, and John S. Moser of Rogersville, AL, a daughter, Barbara A. Phillips of Waynesboro, TN, 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, sister, Meryl Reed and Mary Partain. In addition to his parents, Mr. Moser was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Newcomb Moser, two brothers, Alex and Joseph Moser, and a sister, Maggie.

Services will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee with Leo Potete officiating. Burial will follow in the Pyburn Cemetery near Savannah with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM-8:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
