Charles N. Plunk

Funeral services for Charles N. Plunk, age 72, will be Wednesday at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Selmer with interment to follow in Maggie Jones Cemetery. He was retired from Kraft Dairy Group in Memphis. He was a 32nd Degree mason Memphis Berclair Masonic Lodge #771 and Al Chymia Temple of the Shrine. He was an Army veteran and a member of Maggie Jones Memorial United Methodist Church.
His parents were the late Tony Simpson and Jessie Mae Carpenter Plunk.
Survivors are 2 daughters, Linda Brown of Millington, TN, and Cindy Mohrhoff of Memphis, 2 sons, Tony Allen Plunk of West Virginia, and Terry Plunk of Southaven, MS, 2 sisters, Wilma Barnes (R.C.) of Finger, TN, and Mary Ann Nash (Max Ray) of Selmer, TN
6 grandchildren: Samantha Plunk, an adopted granddaughter that he raised,
and Joey Plunk, Jordon Plunk, Jennifer Mohrhoff, Brandon Brown, and Amy Brown. A great grandson Brycen.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson John Mohrhoff, and a sister Shelby Jean Plunk.
