Charles Edward Prince was born on July 2, 1938 in Georgia, the son of the late Ernest E. and Irene Wood Prince.
He was united in marriage to Janiece Russell, who survives.
Charles worked at Packaging Corporation of America for over 40 years as a pipe welder in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Shriners and Masonic Lodge - Savannah #102. Charles was an active participant in the Masonic Lodge and Shriners events, fundraisers, and cookouts. He was an avid supporter of the Shriners Hospital for Children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on his farm raising cattle. Mr. Prince was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Charles Edward Prince departed this life on April 8, 2026 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 87 years, 9 months, and 6 days.
He is survived by his wife, Janiece Prince of Savannah, Tennessee; daughter, Marty Alexander of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Hollis Prince (Jessica) of Atoka, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kendra Alexander, Andrew Prince, and Whitney Prince; nephew, David Prince; and great niece, Taylor Prince.
In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Prince and James Prince.
