CHARLES D. PYRONwas born in McNairy County, Tennessee on March 12, 1928 the son of the late Dewitt and Bessie Tacker Pyron. Mr. Pyron was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War. He worked for Benswinger Glass Company and Cagle Poultry Company in Macon, Georgia. Mr. Pyron was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee. He lived in Macon, Georgia for 30 years and lived in Hardin and McNairy County areas for 30 years. Mr. Pyron loved riding and showing horses. He was World Rodeo Champion in 1971. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and driving fast cars. Mr. Pyron was an avid Harley Davidson owner. He departed this life on January 9, 2012 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 83 years, 9 months and 28 days.Mr. Pyron is survived by one daughter, Charlene Denise Cook and husband Matthew of Hope Mills, North Carolinaone grandchild, Emma L. Sinclair and husband Daniel2 great grandchildren, Tyson Sinclair and Tanner Sinclair2 nephews, Douglas Pyron and wife Melanie of Winston Salem, North Carolina and Gary Pyron and wife Julie of Macon, GeorgiaIn addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Harold Pyron
