C.D. Rickman,
C.D. departed this life on September 26, 2018 at the age of 70 years and 13 days. He was born to the late Joe and Evelyn Glover Rickman, in Shiloh, Tennessee on September 13, 1948. On May 27, 2006 he was united in marriage to Patricia Elaine Cherry Rickman.
C.D. served our country in the United States Airborne Division, stationed in Vietnam. He was a member of Gideons, Lions Club, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Shiloh Action Committee, Friends of Shiloh National Military Park, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Veterans of America. Charles also worked at the Hardin County Veterans Service Office, where he did public service.
C.D. leaves behind his wife, Patricia Rickman of Shiloh, Tennessee; sons, Christopher Rickman of Manchester, Tennessee, Jeremy Rickman, and Parker Kelly, both of Shiloh, Tennessee; stepsons, Greg Kennon of Lebanon, Tennessee, Christopher Jayne of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Clinton Hornaday of Shiloh, Tennessee; stepdaughter, Heather Jayne of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Terry Rickman of Maryville, Tennessee; sisters, Mary Ruth Driskell of Shiloh, Tennessee, and Jeannie Sloan of Crump, Tennessee; and grandson Landen Rickman.
In addition to his parents, C.D. was preceeded in death by his sister, Jo Ann Ross.
