Charles Winon Russom was born on December 9, 1957, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Charles Williard Russom and Virginia Gail Kirk Russom. He departed this life on August 30, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 68 years, 8 months, and 21 days.

Charles was a hardworking man who proudly owned and operated Joe’s Doors in Eastview, Tennessee, for more than 20 years. He was a United States Navy veteran and a Mason.

Charles was a man who never met a stranger. He had a way of making friends easily and could strike up a conversation with just about anyone. His outgoing personality and genuine love for people allowed him to form friendships wherever he went.

Charles had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and loved everything that came along with them. He enjoyed spending time at the dirt tracks and drag strips in Counce, Tennessee, and Corinth, Mississippi, and enjoyed his time with the 45 Offroad Club. He also had a special place in his heart for his dogs.

Above all else, Charles loved his family. They were an important part of his life, and the memories and moments shared with them will be cherished forever. He will be remembered for his hard work, his love of motorcycles and the outdoors, his ability to make friends wherever he went, and most of all, the love he had for those closest to him.

He is survived by his daughter, Tristan Russom-Malone and her husband, Tommy Malone, of Ramer, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Bella Lynn Russom, Charlie Franklin Russom, and Emmalynn Grace Malone.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Cathrynn Lynn Gabbert Russom, and his son, Corey Winon Russom.
