Charles "Shep" Shepherd, 83, of Crump, Tennessee died Friday, November 20.He was born in Tyronza, Arkansas on September 29, 1926. Shep served in WWII and the Korean War. After his military service, he lived in Memphis where he had a long and successful career in construction. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Crump where he could pursue his favorite interests - hunting and fishing. Shep never met a stranger and quickly became a part of the community.He is survived by his wife, Jewell; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Robert Garrard of Germantown, Tennessee and Sharon and Tim Smith of Munford, Tennessee; 4 grandchildren, Michael Garrard of Savannah, Justin, Brandon and Jared Smith of Munford; 5 great-grandchildren, and 7 brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by and infant daughter, Cheryl; a granddaughter, Kristi Garrard, and 4 brothers and sisters
