Charles David Skelton

Services will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors , in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Josh Stults officiating. Burial will follow in Shields Cemetery, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 25, 6:00--9:00 pm and on Wednesday, August 26, 8:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.



Mr. Skelton departed this life on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Meherry General Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee at the age of 68 Year Old. He was born December 3, 1940 in Waynesboro, Tennessee the son of the late Henry and Thelma Rose Skelton. In addition to his parents, Mr. Skelton was preceded in death by two sisters, Belle Folger and Jean Pollock , brother, Robert Skelton.



Mr. Skelton was a self employed business man.



He is survived by his wife Joan (Staggs) Skelton of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Stephanie (Skelton) Staggs and husband Brian of Clifton, TN, Sonya Skelton of Waynesboro, TN



son, David Skelton and wife Wendy of Waynesboro, TN;



grandchildren; Sarah & Erik Staggs; Ashly Skelton and April Russell



brothers, Tommy Skelton of Tullahoma, TN, Leo Skelton of Magnolia, AK, Henry Skelton Jr. and Howard Skelton both of Waynesboro, TN



sisters, Dorothy Holt of Waynesboro, TN, Caroline Bosheers of Loretta, TN, Irene Smith of Lawrenceburg, TN, Goldie McLane of Carrollton, IL, and Helen Terlecki of Trenton, MI;
