Charles Stewart was born on August 25, 1966 in Savannah, Tennessee, the son of Mary Joyce Stewart and the late Robert Deroy Stewart.
Charles currently worked as a sales consultant for Best Choice Roofing. He previously worked for Hardin Medical Center in security and facility maintenance and New Horizons where he supported young adult men with developmental disabilities. He also worked as a cabling engineer, installing fiber optic cable nationwide and doing courier services for medical donor services. In his spare time, Charles helped other people and often did volunteer work with substance abuse rehabilitation centers in the region. He was an avid fan of the UT Vols. Mr. Stewart was a member of Love & Truth Church in Savannah, Tennessee.
Charles Stewart departed this life on October 8, 2025 in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 59 years, 1 month, and 13 days.
He is survived by his son, Brad Stewart (Cesilie) of Saint Johns, Florida; mother, Mary Joyce Stewart of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Matt Stewart of Vancouver, Washington; sisters, Nancy Crumby (Jim) of Savannah, Tennessee, Carol Carpenter of Nashville, Tennessee, and Amy Crossman (Donald) of Nashville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Faith; grandson, Judah; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Charles was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Droke and her husband, David Droke.
