Charles W. Sweat

Charles W. Sweat was born November 21, 1920 in McNairy County, Tennessee the son of the late George and Lou Della Williams Sweat.He was united in marriage to Winnie Mae Gray on December 27, 1941.Mr. Sweat was owner and operator of Sweat's property management. He was a member of First Baptist church of Selmer, TN. Mr. Sweat departed this life on January 28, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 2 Months, 7 Days. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Winnie Mae Sweat of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Shirley Sweat of Selmer, TN; a son, Charles Kenneth Sweat and wife Sandra of Selmer, TN; four grandchildren, Scott Sweat, Kevin Sweat, Michelle Biggs, Emily Conley; ten great grandchildren, Shelby Sweat, Cameron Sweat, Blake Sweat, Abbie Sweat, Allison Sweat, Chloe Biggs, Jackson Biggs, Hannah Conley, Chase Conley, Mia Conley.In addition to his parents, Mr. Sweat was preceded in death by two sisters, Grace Hill, Leathie Huckabee; four brothers, Foy Sweat, Ersie Sweat ,Marion Sweat, Ed Sweat.
