Charles T. (Charlie) Hornbuckle

Charles (Charlie) Hornbuckle of Stantonville, TN was born September 6, 1938 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late William M. and Zina Thacker Hornbuckle. Mr. Hornbuckle departed this life on September 27, 2015 in Selmer, TN at the age of 77 Years, 21 Days.
He played the banjo and fiddle and enjoyed bluegrass music. He often played at nursing homes and church.
He is survived by three sisters, Mary Flatt and husband Randy of Stantonville, TN, Jewell Elam of Selmer, TN, Barbara Brandon of Huntingdon, TN; a brother, Bobby Hornbuckle of Purdy, TN; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hornbuckle was preceded in death by four brothers, Ernest Hornbuckle, Maynard Hornbuckle, Manford Hornbuckle, J. D. White; a sister, Rachel Hornbuckle; three nephews, Phillip Hornbuckle, Allen Flatt, and James Anthony Brandon.
