Charles Ray Vickery

Charles Ray Vickery departed this life on December 6, 2014 at the Hardin Medical Center at the age of 61 years and 21 days. He was born on November 15, 1953, son to the late L. V. Vickery and Alene Hampton Vickery Newland. He was united in marriage to Dolores Parkinson Vickery of Counce, Tennessee on October 26, 2011, who survives.

Mr. Vickery was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Army as an Emergency Medical Technician. He later worked for several telecommunications companies all over the United States as a contractor in various management positions until retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother, Larry W. Vickery and one sister, Linda Rossmaier, both of Mobile, Alabama; one nephew, Derek Vickery of Mobile, Alabama; one niece, Holly B. Rossmaier Newingham of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; and two grand nephews, R. J. Beasley and Ryan Newland both of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Janice Vickery Osborne, and maternal uncle, L. C. Hampton.

A private service will be held.
