Mr. Charles Wayne Woods, age 61, of Saulsbury, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Wayne was born on November 9, 1955 in Tyronza, Arkansas to Carl and Frances Woods. He was part owner of the family business, Woods and Sons By-Products. Wayne loved hunting, cookin, traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains, spending time with his family and pets, and watching Alabama football.
Wayne is survived by his mother, Frances Ann Woods of Saulsbury; his sister, Peggy Moss (Anthony) of Saulsbury; two brothers, Mike Woods(Gloria) of Saulsbury and Paul Woods (Jeanette) of Middleton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Thomas Woods of Saulsbury; his grandparents, Dan and Viola Wilkerson of Waynesboro, TN and Charlie and Virgie Woods of Waterloo, AL.
Pastor Aaron Moss will officiate the ceremony. Pallbearers will include, Anthony Moss, Brandon Moss, Andy Woods, Thomas Woods, Aaron Watkins, Kevin Woods and Jason Pipkin.
