Charlie Smith

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on February 1, 1949 the son of the late Paul and Marie Smith.

Charlie had worked for Wolfe Sales Company and retired as a restaurant equipment installer for American Food Service. He attended Morris Chapel Baptist Church. In his spare time Charlie enjoyed golfing, fishing, riding around, and umpiring softball. Charlie also enjoyed watching sports, especially the Tennessee Vols.

He departed this life on Saturday, August 20, 2022 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, 6 months, and 19 days.

Charlie is survived by his children, Kim Kelley, Shannon Cummings, LaShawn Tanner, and Jeremy Smith all of Savannah, Tennessee; grandchildren, Hillary Kelley, Hunter Kelley, Corey Bowling, Amber Bowling, Trae Tanner, Allie Grace Tanner, and Jocelyn Smith; great grandchildren, Emma DeBerry, Traeleigh DeBerry, Baylor Benton, Jaxon Bowling, Atleigh Dixon, and Caroline Dixon; brother, Rickey Smith of Savannah, Tennessee; and sister, Pam Johnson of Morris Chapel, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Brasfield.
