Cheryl Lynne Mathews

Cheryl Lynne Crutcher was born on March 17, 1965, in Rockledge, Florida, to Walter James Crutcher Jr. and Anna Margaret Middleton Crutcher.

With a vibrant spirit, Cheryl dedicated 20 years of her life to Aqua Glass, and more recently, she embraced her role as assistant manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts in Savannah, Tennessee. Her infectious laughter and radiant smile lit up the lives of everyone around her, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Cheryl departed this life on July 11, 2025, at the age of 60 years, 3 months, and 24 days. While she may no longer be with us in body, her love for her family and her joyful spirit will forever remain in our hearts. We celebrate her beautiful life and cherish the memories we shared. She will be deeply missed but will always be remembered with heartfelt fondness.

She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Nicole Mathews of Savannah, TN and Erica Michelle Borden and husband Anthony of Stantonville, TN; two sisters, Yolanda Maxedon and husband Bill of Selmer, TN, Tayna Sue Ellsworth and husband Steve of Bethel Springs, TN; a brother, James (Jamie) Crutcher of Bethel Springs, TN; five grandchildren: Alissa Paige Borden, Anthony Lane Borden, Robert Lee Heathcock V, Tara Beth Heathcock, Asher Mathew Borden; a great grandson, Emmett Vest; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by three brothers: Tommy Ray Crutcher, Jimmy Wayne Crutcher, David Dewayne Crutcher.
