Services will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Cal Hampton, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens, Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangemnets.



Visitation will be on Saturday, January 22, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Sunday, January 23, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro



Mrs. Christeen departed this life on Friday, January 21, 2011 at her residence in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 4 Months, 16 Days. She was born September 5, 1929 in Wayne County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Mary Bethel Hensley Murray. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Partain was preceded in death by husband; James Burford Partain on June 26, 1982; brother, Bill Murray; a sister, Jewel (Berry) Warren.



Mrs. Partain was a retired factory worker with Angelica . She was a member of the Green River Baptist Church in Waynesboro.



She is survived by ; two daughters, Peggy (Partain) Dotson; Anita (Partain) Dixon and husband Nicky ; all of Waynesboro, TN two sons, James Ray (Bo) Partain and wife Sharri of Clifton, TN, Mickey Partain of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Christy Dixon and husband Terry, Grant Dotson and wife Holly, Lisa Edwards and husband Michael, Marsha Hampton and husband Andy, Mollie Partain, Josh Nance, Seth Dixon and wife Jessica, and Ashton Dixon; great grandchildren; Erin Moore and husband Josh; Jamison Edwards; Baron and Annie Dotson; Corey and Chase Hampton; Phoebie Partain; Chandler Pigg; Tage Partain; Makayla and Hunter Nance; sister-in-law; Martha Murray of Charlotte, Tn
