Christey Summers

Christy Renee Summers touched the lives of many during her time on this earth. Born on January 7, 1972, in Waynesboro, TN to Anthony W. Gatlin and Cynthia Dean Moore Gatlin, Christy's kind spirit and gentle soul shone brightly throughout her life.
 
Beyond her professional pursuits, Christy enjoyed the peace and quiet of fishing in her free time.
 
On May 29, 2024, Christy departed this world at the young age of 52 years old. Although she may no longer walk among us, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Christy is survived by her son, Wesley Pennington; Parents, Anthony W. Gatlin and Cynthia Dean Moore Gatlin; Grandmother, Geraldine Moore; Aunt, Jane Cummins; Uncle, George Moore.

Visitation will be held at Walnut Grove Cemetery on Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the Funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m.

Interment will be at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
