Christine Patterson

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Dennis Hanvey, Greg Eaton and Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery, Cypress Inn, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Tuesday, Dec. 8, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 9:00 am until service time at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood,TN



Mrs. Patterson departed this life on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Wayne County Nursing Home, in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 7 Months, 13 Days. She was born April 24, 1928 in Lutts, Tennessee the daughter of the late Marion Harrison and Pearl Gillis Rich. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Patterson was preceded in death by husband; Marshall Aaron Patterson; brothers, Orbie Rich, Arvil Rich and Joel Rich two sisters, Gladys Balentine and Nona Sandusky



Mrs. Christine was a retired factory worker and a member of the Piney Grove FWB Church .



She was united in marriage to Marshall Aaron Patterson in May 1949.



She is survived by two sons, David Patterson and wife Eva of Lutts, TN, Randall Patterson of Louisiana



daughter, Kaye (Patterson) Wesson and husband Jerry of Florence, AL;



grandchildren; Shannon, Selena; Corey, Anna & Randy Patterson
