Cindy Grantham

Cindy Grantham, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, in Bolivar, Tennessee. Born on January 14, 1959, in New Orleans, Louisiana, Cindy spent most of her life in the warm embrace of her community in the county, where she touched the lives of many with her kindness and unwavering spirit.

Cindy's journey in life was not without its challenges, but she faced them with remarkable courage and grace. A dedicated homemaker, she devoted herself to her family and made it her life's work to create a loving and nurturing home. Her love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with her grandbabies.

Cindy had a passion for reading and delighted in solving word search puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. These simple pleasures brought her immense joy and comfort. She attended Shandy Baptist Church and found a sense of community and fellowship that enriched her life.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth Gentry and Jason of Middleton; her cherished son, Snapper Grantham and Shelley of Pinson; her sisters, Kathy Tyler of Pennsylvania, Loretta Grantham and Randal of Bolivar, and Emily Tyler of Bolivar; and her brother, Del Tyler of Huntingdon. Cindy's legacy also lives on through her adoring grandchildren, Christopher Grantham and Michelle, Marissa Hopper and Matt, Jordan Gentry and fiancé Alexis, Hayden Grantham and Leah Gentry, as well as her great-grandchildren, Brady Grantham and Riley Hopper. Each one held a special place in her heart and brought her endless joy.

Cindy was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Delbert Morgan Tyler and Inis Sue English Tyler, who instilled in her the values of love, kindness, and resilience that she carried throughout her life.

As we remember Cindy Grantham, we celebrate her spirit, her love for her family, and her contributions to her community. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain a guiding light in the lives of those who had the privilege to know her.
