CLAIBORNE WELLS
was born in Davidson County, Tennessee on April 3, 1926 the son of the late Claiborne Franklin Wells, Sr. and Beulah Campbell Wells.
Mr. Wells was united in marriage to Geraldine Kennell Wells and then to Wilma Bridges Wells, both preceded him in death. On November 24, 1993 he was united in marriage to Marie Rickman Essary, who survives.
Mr. Wells retired from Wells Culvert Company after 25 years. He was a United States Navy Veteran of 26 1/2 years, where he was the only person awarded the Land, Sea and Air that was fired upon. Mr. Wells was a member of Franklin United Methodist Church in Franklin, Tennessee. He enjoyed socializing, traveling, the stock market, working, sales and investing.
In addition to his wife, Marie of Milledgeville, Tennessee, he is survived by 2 daughters, Lynn Wells Maness of Adamsville, Tennessee and Ginger Wells Almy and husband Doug of Nashville, Tennessee.

one step daughter, Vickie Essary Smith and husband Billy of Adamsville, Tennessee and 2 step sons, Ricky Essary and his wife Brenda of Milledgeville, Tennessee and Rusty Essary of Tampa, Florida.
6 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren
Mr. Wells was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas Franklin Wells and one sister, Catherine Wells Dalton.
