Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery at Lutts, Tennessee

with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of the arrangements.



Visitation will be on Thursday, Feb. 4, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Friday, Feb. 5, 9:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood.



Mrs. Eaton departed this life on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 85 Years, 8 Months, 13 Days.

She was born May 20, 1924 in Gillis Mills, Tennessee the daughter of the late Robert and Nancy Strickland Bratton. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Eaton was preceded in death by husband James R. Eaton; daughter, Carolyn Kelly; son, James R. Eaton Jr.; three brothers, Walter Bratton, Marshall Bratton, and her twin brother Claude Bratton; sisters, Margaret Johnson, Myrtle Copeland, Etta Johnson and Gladys Eaton.



Mrs. Eaton was a retired clerk with Brewers Bi-Rite grocery store .



She was united in marriage to James Rex Eaton on February 3, 1943. Mr. Eaton preceded her in death on June 1, 2009.





She is survived by daughters, Judie Eaton of Waynesboro, TN, and Deborah Harville of Lakeland, FL;
