Clara Rose Johnson

Clara Rose Johnson of Selmer, TN was born May 17, 1928 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late William Royce and Frankie Wilma Russom Lambert.
She was united in marriage to Leland Johnson on December 21, 1946. Mr. Johnson preceded her in death on February 2, 1963.
Mrs. Johnson was a 1946 Graduate of Selmer High School. She retired from Brown Shoe Company in Selmer after 32 years of service. She was a longtime Pink Lady Auxiliary volunteer at the McNairy County Hospital and was in the top percentile of hours accumulated. Most of all, she was very faithful in serving her Lord and loving and caring for her family. She truly had a servant's heart.
She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Clayton and husband Wayne of Finger, TN, Kathy Weatherford of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, R A Johnson and wife Paulette of Selmer; two sisters, Dale Rowsey Foster of Selmer, Carolyn Ashe of Selmer; two brothers, Jack Lambert of Selmer, Frank Lambert of Adamsville, TN; 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter and a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Kelly Clayton Amerson; two sisters, Wilma Jo Cox, Joan Lambert; two brothers, Malcolm Lambert, Jimmy Lambert.
