Clara Jordan Lentz
was born in Rowland, North Carolina on August 15, 1915 the daughter of the late Frank Fuller and Dora Bryant Jordan.
On September 10, 1938 she was united in marriage to A. N. Lentz, who survives. Mrs. Lentz was a homemaker and a member of the Counce First Baptist Church.
She departed this life on February 10, 2007 at her residence in Starkville, Mississippi at the age of 91 years, 5 months and 26 days.
Mrs. Lentz is survived by her husband, A. N. Lentz of Starkville, Mississippi;
a daughter, Susan Shappley of Starkville, Mississippi;
a son, David Lentz of Natchitoches, Louisianna;
seven grandsons; 4 great-grandsons; 2 great-granddaughters;
a sister, Becky Coble of Dillon, South Carolina
and a sister-in-law, Helen Jordan of Maryland.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Mae Hendricks and
Reedy Moose and three brothers: John F. Jordan, Haywood Jordan and Tom Jordan.
