Clara Vanedia Phelps Pace, 69, of Walnut, MS passed away February 28, 2011 at Baptist Memphis (BMH). She was born February 14, 1942 in Saulsbury, TN to the late Choice C. Phelps and Birdie Lorene Phelps (McDowell). She was united in marriage on August 9, 1958 to Bobby G. Pace.
She retired from Biltrite Corp. in 2004 after 35 years and many knew her from 26 years of selling Avon.
She leaves her husband of 52 years, Bobby G. Pace; a son, Mark A. Pace of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Angela L. Cook and husband, David of Selmer, TN; seven grandchildren, Kyle Reeder of Orlando, FL, Kayla Pace of Edgewood, FL, Geordan Tomor of East Palestine, OH, Shane and Cameron Cook of Selmer, TN and Brandon and Morgan Cook of Baldwyn, MS; five brothers, Gene Phelps and wife, Roberta of Corinth, MS, Van Phelps and wife, Judy of Jackson, TN, Donald Phelps and wife, Barbara of Dyersburg, TN, Bruce Phelps and wife, Brenda of Quitman, TX, Boyd Phelps and wife, Patty of Katy, TX; and ten nephews and eight nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Ricky Lee Pace and Bobby Joe Pace; two brothers, Lacy Terry Phelps and Lawrence Phelps; one sister, Florence Replogle; a nephew, Jared Lee Phelps; and a niece, Sandra Louise Phelps.
