CLARENCE H. CLOUD
Lexington, TN: Clarence Harle Cloud, age 93, died August 30, 2009 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Mr. Cloud was born in Memphis, TN and reared in McNairy County and Henderson, TN. He was the son of the late Clarence Pryor and Maude Amerson Cloud. He attended school in McNairy County and graduated from Bethel Springs High School in 1934 and Freed-Hardeman College in 1938. He was married to his wife of 67 years, Mable Wamble in 1938. They made their home in West Tennessee, mostly in Memphis. He worked in farm equipment sales for Woods Mfg. Company, retiring in 1983. They had made their home at Piney Lake since 1969. He was a member of the Broad Street Church of Christ in Lexington.
He is survived by two daughters; Becky Rowsey and husband Bob of Henderson and Brenda Dressander of Lexington; four grandchildren; Dana Dressander Ruff and husband Gary, David Dressander and wife Melissa, Rebecca Rowsey Desso and husband David and Ben Rowsey and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Mabel Wamble Cloud in 2005; two granddaughters; Mary Margaret Rowsey in 1988 and Sherri Dressander in 2009, two brothers James Cloud and Charles Cloud and a sister Louise Cloud Guinn.
