Clark Frank

Henderson, TN: Elizabeth Irene (Clark) Cherry Frank, age 85 passed away, Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at her home.Mrs. Frank was born and reared in Chester County, the Sweetlips Community, the daughter of the late John Alford and Iva Melton Cherry. She attended Chester County schools and married R. L. ‘Junior’ Frank in 1947. They lived in several states while Mr. Frank followed construction work and moved back to Chester County in 1954. Mrs. Frank worked at Chester Mfg. for fifteen years and Mr. Frank ran a dozier operation until 1966 when he was elected Chester County Road Supervisor. They made their home in the Wilson School Community since 1957 where they farmed and raised cattle. Mr. Frank died in 2003. Mrs. Frank was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church and she loved to quilt, garden and cook. She is survived by two sons, Michael ‘Mike’ Frank and wife Devenda of Henderson and Norris Frank and wife Shelia of Luray; two daughters, Sandra King and husband Jimmy of Selmer and Debbie Whitfield and husband Eddie of Henderson; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; she also leaves a special friends and caregivers Dianne and Max Brown.She was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Cherry and a sister Lois Burross.
