Claude Odell Cranford, age 67 of Bolivar, passed from this life Monday, December 15, 2008.He was born October 1, 1941 to the late Notie Franklin and Verda Mae Ferguson Cranford in Obion County, Tennessee. He had lived in here for 30 years and worked as a self-employed commercial fisherman. He is survived by three daughters, Derinda Cranford of Whiteville, Amy Lynn Cranford of Crossville, and Melissa D. Cranford of Henderson; two sons, Wayne Cranford of Hornsby and Chadwick Stephen Cranford of Bolivar; four sisters, Doris Taylor of Memphis, Louise Barker of Somerville, Erma Fewell of Atoka and Gail Snelling of Newbern; one brother, Wiford Cranford of Obion; three stepdaughters, Sheila Stewart of Selmer, Teresa Herman of Henderson and Priscilla Hopper of Jackson; three grandchildren of Sabrina Cranford, Jordan Cranford and Hanna Wells; and seven step grandchildren, Casey Herman, Carrie Smith, Cory Stewart, Joseph, Austin and Brittany Edwards, and Hayden Stanford and by the mothers of his children, Ruby Cranford of Bolivar and Shane Herman of Bolivar.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Cranford-Hampton.In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in the name of Odell Cranford at First South Bank.
