Claudia Davis Stevenswas born in Brewton, Alabama on March 15, 1925 the daughter of the late Willie and Annie Sheffield Davis.Mrs. Stevens enjoyed playing Bridge with her friends and growing roses and baking. She was a member of the East End Methodist Church in Savannah, Tennessee.Mrs. Stevens departed this life on Monday, November 21, 2011 at the age of 86 years, 8 months, 6 days.She is survived by a daughter, Grace Layton and her husband Paul; 2 sons, Fred Fuqua and his wife Sherry, Tim Stevens and his wife Loretta; 8 grandchildren, Marti Neaves, Clint Fuqua, Nicholas Fuqua, Lisa Layton, Timothy Stevens, Amber Stevens, Felisha Lathum, and Justin Miller; 7 great grandchildren, Riley Neaves, Logan Miller, Landon Miller, Ian Lathum, Jay George, Christopher George and Hunter Walls; a brother, Nathan Davis and his wife Rea of Brewton, Alabama.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Fred Fuqua in 1949 during the Koran Conflict; her 2nd husband, Thomas Stevens February 2, 2003; a son, Edward \"Peewee\" Fuqua; 2 grandsons, Ricky Edward Layton and Phillip Layton; great grandson, Bobby Lee Miller; a sister, Helen Taylor and a brother, Eugene Davis.
