Sue Abrams
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on September 19, 1936 the daughter of the late Clyde Duckett and Climmie Gertrude Barrier Abrams.
Sue worked as a seamstress for Savannah Manufacturing and Angelica. She also had worked for Brown Shoe Company. In her spare time she enjoyed listening to southern gospel music, reading, doing seek-a-word puzzles, and spending time with family. Sue was a member of Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church and attended First Freewill Baptist Church in Iuka, Mississippi when she was able.
She departed this life on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 in Iuka, Mississippi at the age of 88 years, 8 months, and 15 days.
Sue is survived by one brother, Tommy Abrams (Charlotte) of Olive Branch, Mississippi; sister-in-law, Janie Abrams; niece, Cindy Whitfield (David) of Iuka, Mississippi; nephew, John Abrams (Candy) of Hernando, Mississippi; great nieces and nephews, Austin Whitfield (Allie), Andrew Whitfield (Sara), Alex Whitfield, Emma Abrams, and Ethan Abrams; and great great nieces, Caroline Whitfield and Eloise Whitfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Abrams and one sister, Virginia Abrams.
