Clyde A. Robertson

Clyde Robertson departed this life on Saturday, August 22, 2015, at the age of 85 years, 8 months, 14 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 8, 1929, the son of the late Burl "Bill" and Gulmer Love Robertson. On October 23, 1954, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Kay Griffin, who survives.

Clyde was self employed as a farmer and construction worker and lived in Hardin County most of his life except for the short time he worked in Indiana and Alvin, Texas. He served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1950 thru 1953. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and most of all was a great father.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dorothy Kay Robertson of Saltillo, Tennessee; son, Mickey Alan Robertson and wife Robbie of Trimble, Tennessee; daughter, Rebecca Faith Robertson Hollingsworth and husband, Jason of Camden, Tennessee; grandchildren, Dustin Alan Robertson and wife, Christina of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Ashley Nicole Hollingsworth Bogovich and husband, George of Jacksonville, Florida, Hunter Lee Hollingsworth of Camden, Tennessee, Valerie Ann Lynch Fowlkes and husband, Richie of Trimble, Tennessee, Robert Tandy Lynch and wife, Ashley of Dyersburg, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Justin Cole Robertson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Ava Rose Alisabeth Robertson of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Chloe Hope Hoggood of Trimble, Tennessee, Lane Austin Fowlkes of Trimble, Tennessee, Wesley Jacob Upchurch of Dyersburg, Tennessee, and William "Liam" Robert Lynch of Dyersburg, Tennessee.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Robertson, Curtis Robertson, Burl Robertson, and James Robertson; sisters, Pauline Terry, Burnice Stinnett, and Mildred Marschall.
