Connie Jones

Connie Jones of Waynesboro, TN was born May 14, 1941 in Memphis, TN, the son of the late Duria and Erma Turner Jones.He attended Mt. Olive C. M. E. Church in Memphis, TN before moving to Waynesboro, TN. He is survived by brothers, Travis Jones of Jackson, MI, Godfrey Jones of Union City, TN; a sister, Martha Payne of Hackettstown, NJ; and his Buffalo River family and friends in Waynesboro, TN.In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by brothers, Duria Jones Jr., Dwight Jones, Kelsey Jones, and Aaron Jones. Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with John Blackwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing.
